Milk, anyone?
Last night before the little accident I stopped by Carrefour Ploiesti to buy a few things. Among other things I bought some milk.
Looking at the milk cartons I thought it might be interesting to show everybody what my weekly milk consumption looks like.
Answers to frequently asked questions...
Q: What the BEEP do you do with all that milk?
A: Drink it as it is or with cocoa or eat cereals with it.
Q: Don't you get sick of milk sometimes?
A: No.

The Little Car Crash
As I was on my way back to Bucharest tonight, together with Ancuta, I had the "pleasure" of being involved in a minor car crash. As we were just about to enter Bucharest I stopped to allow two pedestrians to cross and just as the car came to a full stop there was a loud noise and we found ourselves pushed forward.
Amazingly enough, the car was barely scratched. The car that hit us was slightly less lucky as its bumper will actually require some repairs.
Long story short, I spent 3 hours of my day in the police station in Otopeni. Didn't like it, had to do it, don't want to do it again.

Martisor
The 1st of March is a day of special significance in Romania. It marks the begining of spring and is refered to as Martisor.
Martisor is also the name of the little tokens of appreciation men give to women on this day. These tokens come in many different shapes and sizes but will mostly consist of a small pendant-like object tied to a piece of red and white string.

MBA exam results
Because the initial purpose of this blog was to keep my friends informed of my activities and whereabouts I just have to post my MBA exam session results. It's true I've had them for over a week now but considering how well I did it's worth taking the time to brag a little.
To cut a long story short I finished my first MBA session of exams with nothing but 10s (that's something like "A" for those of you who are used to another educational system), being the only one in programme to achieve this.
Congratulations to me!

Word Tips and Tricks
Because I appear to have very little time these days for my site I will just write a very short and useful tutorial. You know how it sometimes happens that you ask somebody to write something for you and because they're 5 years old (or have the mind of a 5 year old) they email you a text written with nothing but CAPS?
Well, there's a very simple solution to this. In order to turn the very tiring capitalized text into something more legible you can simply:
- select all the text (CTRL+A)
- convert it to lowercase (SHIFT+F3)

Weblog
A few nights ago as I was looking through some old favourites list and I found this:

It's a blog I created back in 2003 on what was at the time probably the first Romanian blog site. Judging by the fact that I managed to book chris as my username I was probably one of the earliest users.
After trying it out with one short post it seems I abandoned the blogging activity as it didn't present much interest for me at the time. Since I still have the user and password maybe I'll find some use for it now.
