I was really looking forward to announcing the big astronomical event
of the summer solstice on my blog. Unfortunatelly I've been through a
lot of debate on when I should do it.
To lay the discussion to rest once and for all here's a Wikipedia article on the Solstice.
The truth is the summer solstice isn't always on the same date to begin
with. This year it just happened to be on Thursday the 21st.
I'll be spending Midsummer camping in the mountains.
