Friday night we took almost 5 hours getting from Bucharest to Comarnic.
It all started last Sunday when Roxana called to tell me she was planning to come back from Belgium 4 days sooner. She asked me to pick her up at the airport and said I was to tell no one of her plans. I did just as she said. Late on Friday, among many other variables that lead me to change plans many times, I got a call from Alinuta saying she'd just found out and she wanted to come with me to the airport.
I managed to pick up Ancuta and Alinuta and officially leave Bucharest around 9:15. We got to the airport in about 30 minutes.
After a reunion at the airport worthy of Andreea Marin (Ancuta didn't know Roxana was coming until seconds before she saw her) the real adventure began. We stopped in Ploiesti for some late dinner and we went to meet Laura, Dan and Andrei. The best part was that Roxana conspired with Costin's sister to track him down so that we would find him going about his nightly business with his biker friends.
We eventually got home around 1:30 am.
