Today we've completed the changeover of the company phone group from Zapp to Vodafone. This means our old Zapp phone numbers are no longer valid but if you were in my contact list you probably got an sms with the new phone number by now.
The reasons for this change will probably interest everyone most of all.
Well, Zapp has poor coverage and a limited choice of crappy phones. Adding more phones to the Zapp group meant giving up some of our signup bonuses. There are other issues as well but I will just leave it at that.
Honestly, I was determined to switch to any other provider that offered better coverage even if it would cost a bit more. The surprising thing was that Vodafone actually made us an offer that was more convenient financially as well. Rest assured we ran all the computations before doing this, so, for now at least, I advise anyone to "Vote for Vodafone!"
