I'm back home from our little 1392 km road trip.
Because we left late and spent quite a bit of time in various places along the road we arrived in Comarnic at midnight... sharp. This means we saw everything from Curtea de Arges onward in moonlit darkness.
All this actually gave me the inspiration to realize that there's a whole new kind of tourism you can engage in at night. There are monuments with huge light projectors aimed at them that look quite impressive at night as well (see enclosed picture); there's the night life, although it's sometimes pretty far from where the well lit monuments are (Ex: Curtea de Arges monuments - Bucharest nightlife); and there's also another very interesting kind of tourism.
This third kind of tourism is something you might think of organizing at night in the woods of Moroieni (English: ghost), just some 20 km from Sinaia.
