It's true, I've waited a long time to make this public, but it's understandable considering the number of things that can go wrong (and did) when you start out on this path.
Long story short, I've been admitted to the Academy of Economic Studies' Doctoral School in Management. This makes me a PhD Student and legally allows me to append the letters "drd" to my name. I'm not going to do that.
The final goal would be to get my PhD in management over the next 3 years. I'm not going to start a long explanation about why I want/need to do this as I feel it's much more interesting to leave that to speculation.
All I'm going to say is that after having my first day of doctoral school courses on Monday I've been left with a very positive feeling. This seems to be by far the most serious form of Romanian education I've attended until now. Topics are complicated. The professors I've met so far are good.
Best of luck to me! You always need a bit of that as well, no matter what you do.
