While I'm not entirely sure yet if we're just talking about free wifi
on airplanes, and if so, why there's a custom version of Y! Messenger
that you need to use, Yahoo! recently announced that they've partnered
with an airline to offer mail and messenger to passengers on their
laptops and web-enabled phones during the company's flights.
It's still in beta but I don't think it will take too long for this to become widespread.
