Today, among many other activities, I had the opportunity to see the
Lincoln Cathedral restoration workshops and experience what the
maintenance of a cathedral the size and importance of Lincoln is like.
Climbing up the scaffolding on the south side of the cathedral was a
highlight of the day. That's one type of helmet I hadn't worn before.
