Let's examine my menu for yesterday, just for fun's sake.

7:30 am - Breakfast - Frosted Shreddies... with milk
1:00 pm - Lunch - Double sized Snickers
5:30 pm - Tea - Half a Snickers
7:00 pm - Dinner - Rice pudding
9:00 pm - Dinner 2 - Papanasi
2:00 am - Milk and cake (Cozonac)

So, in addition to my healthy sleeping habits (NOT) and my addiction to taurine I've now had an entire day of the most balanced diet you can imagine... sweets only.

Far from giving me energy, it really messed me up.

In fact this little involuntary experiment helped confirm one of my theories: your body tells you what you need to eat.
At the end of the day I actually had a repulsion towards anything remotely sweet. After all those sweets I needed to eat something salty so badly I went through a whole bag of pistachios on my own.
